How to Apply / Renew e-Cert

A.	e-Cert (Personal) for Smart ID Card certificate
	Download application form (PDF Format) or obtain it at 7 designated post offices. After completing the application form, you may bring along your smart ID card and apply at any of the 7 designated post offices.

B.	New e-Cert Application
	New e-Cert applicant must complete and submit the application form and present the required documents with appropriate application fees as described in the e-Cert Certification Practice Statement ("CPS").

C.	Renewal of e-Cert
	We will notify Subscribers to renew their certificates prior to the expiry of the certificates' subscription / validity period. The certificates can be renewed before expiry of their subscription / validity period at the request of the Subscriber and the discretion of HKPost. HKPost will not perform renewal of expired, suspended or revoked certificates. To renew e-Cert, the subscriber is required to submit a completed and signed e-Cert renewal application form.

• Unsubscription of e-Cert Newsletter and Promotional Emails.
• The signature(s) and organisation's chop on the above renewal form must be the same as shown on the original application form.
