Hongkong Post Bank-Cert (Corporate)

With effect from 31 March 2010, Hongkong Post Certification Authority has terminated all Registration Authority ("RA") for Bank-Cert operation and ceases to issue new Bank-Cert.

The information in this web page provides information for the previously issued Bank-Cert (Corporate). For more details, please refer to the corresponding Bank-Cert Certification Practice Statement.

Hongkong Post Bank-Cert (Corporate) certificates are issued to organisations that hold a valid business registration certificate issued by the Government of the Hong Kong SAR and statutory bodies of Hong Kong whose existence is recognized by the laws of Hong Kong (a "Subscriber Organisation"); and identifies a Subscriber Organisation's member or employee (an "Authorised Users") who has been duly authorised to use that Bank-Cert (Corporate) certificate. The Subscriber Organisations are customers of the banks acting as Registration Authority ("RA"). These certificates are available at the cost of HK$120 per certificate (although first time applicants will only be asked to pay HK$20 per certificate) for one year and may be used to perform Internet banking services and other commercial operations.
