HKEx's
Secure Online Trading Service
Since February 2001, Hong Kong Exchanges and
Clearing Limited ('HKEx') has offered secure Internet
trading services with the application of a digital
certificate.
By using a digital certificate issued by a recognised
certification authority such as Hongkong Post,
investors are able to place orders through HKEx's
Online
Trading Service securely and directly to their
brokers' trading systems over the Internet. In
addition to order placement, HKEx's Online Trading
Service allows investors to conduct order modification,
cancellation or enquiry. Transaction details will
also be provided automatically via e-mail once
the trade has been completed.
The service can be accessed through the investment
service centre on HKEx
web site.
HKEx's
Investor Account Service
Since October 2000, Hongkong Clearing, a wholly-owned
subsidiary of Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing
Limited (HKEx), has introduced an Internet access
facility into CCASS with the application of a
digital certificate issued by Hongkong Post. Investor
Participants will be able to access the Investor
Account Service via the HKEx
website or via a direct link (https://ip.ccass.com).
The Internet access facility will allow Investor
Participants to obtain statements, view circulars,
affirm Investor Settlement Instructions, check
account balances, or participate in corporate
activities in the comfort of their homes or anywhere
in the world using Internet.

Internet Securities by ICBC
(Asia)
e-Cert enables users of ICBC (Asia) e-Securities
Services to conduct a wide range of online securities
services in a safe and convenient way. The online
services include security trading, order status
enquiry and amendment, securities account information
enquiry, stock price alert, quote and market information
enquiry.
