Issuance of e-Cert (Server) with 2048-bit RSA Key Length only with effect from 1 December 2012

On 1 September 2011, Hongkong Post Certification Authority announced the transition plan for issuance of 2048-bit RSA Key Length e-Cert (Server).

This notice serves to remind applicants and subscribers that starting from 1 December 2012, all e-Cert (Server) will be issued only with 2048-bit RSA key length. Only Certificate Signing Request (CSR) for e-Cert (Server) with 2048-bit RSA key length will be accepted.
