Notice of cessation of supplementary update to the Certificate Revocation Lists

This notice should be read in conjunction with the "Notice of supplementary update to the Certificate Revocation Lists" announced on 11 August 2010.

This notice is to announce that the Certificate Revocation Lists (CRLs) issued by the Sub CA "Hongkong Post e-Cert CA 1" since 09:15 13-Aug-2010 already contain information of all suspended or revoked certificates. The supplementary update announced on 11 August 2010 ceases effect on the CRLs issued since 09:15 13-Aug-2010.

When checking for certificate status since 09:15 13-Aug-2010, Relying Parties should check against the CRLs regularly published by the Hongkong Post Certification Authority, without the need to check against the supplementary list of revoked or suspended certificates announced on 11 August 2010.
