The following instructions are for reference only. More details can be found in "Help" of the browser software.

Internet Explorer

Please follow the steps below to install each of the root/e-Cert CA certificates:

1. Click on the link of the root/e-Cert CA certificate to be installed.
2. In the File Download dialog box, click Open.
3. In the Certificate dialog box, select the Details tab to view the information of the root/e-Cert CA certificate.
4. Click Install Certificate to install the root/e-Cert CA certificate.
5. In the Certificate Import Wizard, click Next to continue.
6. Select the "Automatically select the certificate store based on the type of certificate" option, and then click Next.
7. Click Finish to close the wizard.

Mozilla Firefox / Netscape

Please follow the steps below to install each of the root/e-Cert CA certificates:

1. Click on the link of the root/e-Cert CA certificate to be installed.
2. In the Downloading Certificate dialog box, click View to view the information of the certificate.
3. Check all the boxes and then click OK.

Mac OS X

Please follow the steps below to install each of the following e-Cert CA certificates:

• Hongkong Post e-Cert CA 1 - 10
• Hongkong Post e-Cert CA 1
• Hongkong Post e-Cert CA

1. Click on the link to download the e-Cert CA certificate to be installed.
2. Open the downloaded certificate file.
3. In the Add Certificates dialog box, click View Certificates to view the information of the certificate.
4. Click OK.

Please follow the steps below to install each of the following root CA certificates:

• Hongkong Post Root CA 1
• Hongkong Post Root CA

1. Click on the link to download the root certificate to be installed.
2. Open the downloaded certificate file.
3. In the Add Certificate dialog box, click View to view the information of the certificate.
4. Select the X509 Anchors keychain, and then click OK.
5. In the Authenticate dialog box, enter administrator's name and password, and then click OK.
